The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (HUSO) at Khon Kaen University (KKU), in a strategic partnership with the International Affairs Division and the Library of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (PRC), successfully hosted the “Guangxi Flavours and Zhuang Charm Workshop”.

This collaborative initiative brought together the International Affairs Group, the Eastern Languages Department (Chinese Major), and the KKU International Affairs Division to foster a deeper understanding of Chinese heritage within the university community.

The opening ceremony, held at the HUSO Learning Centre, was presided over by Associate Professor Dr Orathai Piayura, Dean of the Faculty, who welcomed international delegates and students. Assistant Professor Dr Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant President for International Affairs, delivered the official opening remarks, highlighting the event's role in strengthening bilateral ties. Ms Qin Xiaoyan, Director of the Library of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, concluded the session with a speech outlining the mission to share the unique cultural identity of the Guangxi region with a global audience.

The event concluded with a shared sense of appreciation for the history and artistry of the Guangxi region, further solidifying KKU’s commitment to being a global hub for education and cultural diplomacy.
